Finding My Dream Wedding Dress [ My Experience at Ivory & White ]

Every girl’s dream is to marry the man of her dreams and look like a Princess throughout the process. Well, I had the first part in the bag; (Travis you are my literal DREAM MAN – my true soulmate. Forever in awe of what God did to bring us together! Thank you Jesus!) Now all that I needed (besides all the other things that go into a wedding but hey this one’s the most important IMO lol) was THE dress!

Considering that I didn’t grow up in Alabama, I really didn’t know where to start. I honestly thought I would go back to Atlanta and what I knew to find my dress, but I wanted to see what my options were here!

Turns out after many INCREDIBLE recommendations and lots of research I found a GEM of a bridal boutique right in the heart of Crestline. I was in awe of their Instagram feed and their array of stunning dresses (seriously go look at their Instragram ASAP @ivoryandwhiteboutique) and I knew that’s where I needed to go!

From the moment you walk in, you truly get that magical bridal feeling as you take in all the stunning dresses, jewelry, and accessories that are placed so elegantly throughout the entire space.

Because each bridal experience is by appointment only, you receive the complete full attention of the amazing Ivory & White bridal consultants who make you feel so special and heard. I loved that this boutique was appointment only because it was such a relaxing and intimate experience with my loved ones! After a style & price consult, you are given champagne (or water whichever you prefer but you know ya girl likes the bubbly lol) and led to a beautiful dressing room to lounge in a robe (LIKE HELLO MY DREAM IS TO LIVE LIFE IN A ROBE WITH CHAMPAGNE) while your consultant brings a round of dresses to start off your fitting!

She completely understood EXACTLY what I was looking for (so much so that after I tried them all on and picked my dream gown she told me that my dress, THE DRESS, was the FIRST dress she pulled for me! EKK! Still in shock of how gorgeous it is! And talk about knowing what your bride wants!) and also brought me options that were slightly different so that I could try on other styles and really nail down what I wanted!

I tried on about 4-5 more styles and my dress was the last of them all and truly the most stunning gown I’ve ever seen. I SO WISH I could share it with yall but until then, the idea of walking down the aisle is keeping me going lol! I’ve never felt prettier than in my dress.

Overall, I couldn’t have had a better experience than I did that day. I know wedding dress shopping is one of the most highly anticipated and important experiences of your wedding journey and it really should be as special as possible! You should feel like a princess before, during, and after.
